Ride a mile in these shoes.

We’ve been looking for a good shoe to go riding in, but it seems there is always something wrong. Last year Vans came out wit the 45LX fixed which looks exactly like the authentic but had a galvanized rubber toe-cap with double stitching, a great shoe, although the laces still bug the top of our foot. Last month, Nike released the Air Max series featuring the signature yellow and black color way of their Livestrong campaign, but they must have realized that these shoes are just simply not made to fit in cages and so they now have released the Nike Tempo. It looks a lot like a soccer shoe, but is actually designed with not only stronger leather, denser rubber, but also a sockliner to be stiffer giving more support to the foot. They were released in eight different colors to represent the eight different riders and their cities around the world. Although we haven’t tried this shoe, it seems like a good contender.

I think the model is Tiempo, but since they haven’t been released yet it is just speculation on my part.  Have a good one…
