In other news via Zack from Open Bicycle, via Prolly from Planet Prolly has flipped the open sign on Open, and spilled the beans;

"Whats Up Guys!

Hope all has been well. Its been a while since anyone has heard from me - getting this shop open was one battle, keeping it flowing smoothly is another. We've been slammed this spring/early summer, the gallery is doing great and the design studio is signing on some insane projects. We're co-opening a 4,000sf space upstairs from the shop with a number of other designers. The space opens mid-July, more to come later!

As most have noticed, our blog/site has been under re-development for around a month now - expect to see it alive again in about a weeks time. I threw up a more thoughtful splash page in the mean time.

We are super stoked to share that we have formed a relationship with Freeman Transport, and are currently stocking soft-goods and very shortly, frames. As of now, we are the only shop formally working with them, which will yield some interesting projects down the road...
As well, our relationship with Traitor Cycles has been going great - there are a decent number of them moving around Boston, and Joe @ Traitor is a great dude to work with! We have a killer project with them in the works...

We're also stoked to announce that we are working with three of the most exciting young frame builders in the Northeast who happen to represent the various methods of steel construction quite well - Icarus (Fillet Brazed), Geekhouse (TIG Welded) and Royal H Cycles (Lugged). As the exclusive dealer of these three bright and innovative builders, we work with clients thought the entire process of designing their dream bikes, from in-depth fittings to component specification. By mid-next week, we will have frames from each of them in the shop for sale.

I've attached a few photos from within the shop, explaining some of the above and as a "whats going on at Open."

And...as a gesture of kindness, for any of you that do not work at (or own) a shop, have no hook ups or are in need of random, espcially NOS/Vintage things, I'd be more than happy to do what I can.
