I can attest to the badassness of these caps, but if you don't want to slip down the slope of douche baggery, remember to wear your hat like this;
and never like this;
The first one who can tell me to what the name refers, gets a free cap to boot.
All you gotta do is
do it.
are you talking about MARS from the spike lee movie She’s gotta have it. and this lead to doing commercials for nike. the movie is pretty good and Mars Blackmon was the crazy fast talking New Yorker who wanted to be with Nola in the move but Nola wanted it from everyone.
“Grik A lazy layabout who has no job, car and lives at his parents house.
When asked about job prospectives, a grik will claim that “scheduling problems” prevent them from having availablity of a real job. Also a grik claims that working fast food or anyjob with flexible availability is “beneath them.”
“Dude you lazy grik! Get out of bed its 5 o’clock at night! And what did your mom make for dinner?"”
cap-it-all is that code for capital
i.e. the capitol of Italy where the hats were made?
Rome.
GRIKS is slang for Greeks.
ok.Joe Parkin. an american cyclist who wanted to become a professional. in order to do so he was told to move to belgium.
So since Griks means one who sits around at home i would have to make my next guess that the name of the hat refers to getting off your ass/house and going for a ride.
so put on this hat and go for a ride.
or is it G.R.I.K.S.
Go Ride In Kermis w. Swobo?
or
Go Ride In Kermis w/ Style
Go Race In Kermis Solo?
or
Go Race In Kermis Straight?
is it a word problem?
Grip Sack
i think im making this harder than it is.
Are we getting close? Maybe another hint please, like is it an anagram or not?
Go Race In Kermis Sprints
Get Ridiculed In Kermis Sprints
they said he looked like a dog in a hat
the name means what you want it to mean ...
Grik is located in Malaysia, coordinates 5° 25’ 59” North, 101° 7’ 0” East.
if you lived in Lithuania and wanted some buckwheat, you would ask for griks
“Grieks” is Dutch noun meaning Greek (the language.) When spoken, it phonetically sounds like “Griks.”
The Dutch did extensive missionary work in South Asia during the nineteenth century, including the Kokborok speaking area of Tripuri. These East Indians adopted the word “Griks” into their language to mean “Greek,” the language of “Gris” (Greece), a country they learned of through the Old Testament.
To this day, a small city called “Griks,” or, more commonly “Geriks,” sits along the trans-asian highways originally established by European missionaries.
FFFFUUUU--
nah dude, s’cool man. i may just cough up the 15 clams.
i thought doc bradshaw got it with malaysia. so no one is right still?
so far if no one is correct we have two clues
think what would joe parkin do
and
its a location
the wrong answers so far are
Rome
Belgium
Kermis
Malaysia
Lithuania
and
along the trans-asian highways
if its a place then the only place i found referring to GRIKS was a Glåmdal Revisjon IKS in Norway. ive googled grik griks grik’s GRIKS GRIK G.R.I.K.S. even used google earth for that last answer. they only thing i can think of with the two clues given is that somewhere in Joe Parkin’s new book A Dog in a Hat he makes reference to some small town or place where he raced called griks or something along those lines.
Thanks for taking the time to post such a detailed and informative article. It has given me a lot of inspiration and I look forward to more like this in the future.
