A correspondence with a man who talks pretty

The email banter went like this;

"Hey thought you guys might want to check out this video we just uploaded in HD

We would be honored to be included on your site, and we would be more than happy to give you any information on the short.

hope this finds you well

ride on
Daniel"

To which I responded;

"Ive seen this before, and am quite fond of it.
I would be happy to.
Go ahead. Lay some information on me.

It doesn't even have to be about the film.
Or maybe it does, and it's a fun fact, like how the girl got locked porta-potty in the during the shoot, or the guy sat on his sun glasses, and when he stood up he bumped his head on a huge photo of Jack Nicholson, which then fell and destroyed a catering table.

Or maybe it just might be a little snippet about unicorn eyeball sacks."

To which Daniel replied;

"Here is the real inspiration behind the film....

If we look at this short film from the perspective of a 13th century medieval writer we can then understand that Fatimah Durkee, who plays the female cyclist, actually represents the Virgin Maiden while the mythical unicorn is the bike itself. One can watch the film after a second screening and observe the strength, passion, and purity embodied in Fatimah's mythical urban cycling finesse. We can also see through montage how she is able to tempt the unconscious of the male messenger figure, who while riding solitary and strong can himself be viewed as a unicorn metaphor. So in conclusion the chase between the two, as the sun sets, demonstrates the infinite cycle of love, lust ,and harmony within nature. Horse=bike, medieval forest=City, Virgin maiden=Female cyclist, Solitary strength=Messenger. Watching this film together a third time we can also dissect a post-modern allegory setting man, nature, and technology at odds with each-other while portraying the perfect synthesis of man and machine, the cyclist.

All interpretations are valid...one could also say it's just a commercial for tires.

I will say this, we put those tires through hell and back and last we checked everyone is still riding on the very same treads we doled out in August.

thanks for the posting!
Daniel."

I told him that it sounded like someone went to art school.

So without further ado, feast your eyes;

Ha, I love when people can pull BS out of, um, thin air like that and it actually sounds valid.

You have a great deal of courage writing about that.
